Titan Youth Basketball

3rd - 7th Grade - Boys & Girls

 

League Start Date: October 2nd

League End Date: November 20th          

Championship Game Night:  December 4th

 

Game Day:  Friday Nights

 

Dates:             Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

              Nov. 6, 13, 20                     

   

Registration Per Team: $450

Registration as an Individual: $100

 

Game Times: 6:00pm / 6:45pm / 7:30pm / 8:15pm - 4 Quarters

 

Games will be 45 minutes – 4 Quarters

·         Each Individual that registers will receive 2- Numbered Titan League T-Shirts and will wear these as jerseys. If your team wants to wear their own jerseys, then you may do so.

·         Gate Fees: $5.00 for adults, $2.00 Children (5 and under free), $3.00 for Senior Citizens ($65 and older)

·         Practices are NOT included in the Team Registration Fee.

THIS IS FOR ANYONE REGISTERING AS AN INDIVIDUAL OR ENTERING A TEAM TO PLAY IN THE LEAGUE. PLEASE SELECT THE CIRCLE NEXT TO I AM AN INDIVIDUAL REGISTERING BUTTON. HIT THE DOWN ARROW AND SIGN UP FOR YOUR APPROPRIATE GRADE AS AN INDIVIDUAL OR IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP A TEAM.


 

  1. Fee Deadline
    1. In order to provide better service to the participants of the Youth Basketball League, all registration deadlines will be strictly enforced. All fees must be paid before league play begins. If your team does not make payment in full by the publicized first day of league play, your team placement in the league is not guaranteed. Partial fee payments will not be accepted.
    2. Referee Fees must be paid prior to each game to each ref.

 

  1. Roster/Players
    1. A completed official team roster is due at the front desk at the time of registration or prior to the first game. Failure to submit a completed roster prior to the first game will result in a forfeit loss of the first game of the season. It is recommended that teams carry a full roster to allow for injuries and players that may be out of town.
    2. All players on the roster MUST have a completed medical waiver on file at Titan Sports Complex before they are allowed to play.
    3. Waiver can be found on the Titan website.

 

  1. Player Eligibility
    1. Teams may contest a player eligibility from the opposing team. A $75 fee will be charged for contesting teams.
    2. Teams playing ineligible players will forfeit the contested game.

 

  1. Refund Policy
    1. Refunds for Titan Sports League fees will not be available once the schedules for that particular league have been generated and printed. Any team that is removed from any league will not be refunded any portion for their league fee. Refunds for Titan Sports Leagues fees will be processed only if the league has been cancelled.

 

  1. Schedule Requests and Reschedules
    1. Any schedule requests or conflicts must be submitted during registration. If one is not submitted during registration, we will assume you do not have any scheduling conflicts.
    2. Games may be rescheduled upon approval of Titan Sports. Reschedules must be emailed or turned in to Titan Sports 48hrs prior to game time. Email: events@titansportscomplex.com

 

  1. Complex Rules
    1. No climbing on goals
    2. No smoking
    3. No loitering
    4. No pets
    5. No alcohol
    6. No drugs or illegal substances
    7. No profanity
    8. No weapons
    9. Visitors to the Titan Sports Complex are expected to follow all rules, procedures, and policies. Fields are restricted to the official Titan usage schedule, with the exception of pre-game warmup. Failure to comply with any of the Titan Sports Complex Rules and Regulations may result in a fine. Good sportsmanship is highly encouraged towards/from all players, coaches, officials, parents, and fans.
    10. Titan Sports has a ZERO TOLERANCE Policy towards referee abuse. The physical and/or verbal abuse of officials will not be allowed. Violation of this policy will result in the removal from the Titan Sports Complex. Therefore, please be respectful to all officials as it reflects on our responsibility to teach our children the importance of being respectful to those in a role of authority.
  2. Facilities
    1. All games will be held at the Titan Main Complex Game Courts located on: 101 E. 81st St. Tulsa, OK.
    2. Basketball will be played on the indoor basketball courts.
  3. General Rules
    1. 3RD GRADE-
      1. 10 foot goals
      2. Press anytime unless 15+ points ahead
      3. 1 Full 60 sec Timeout per half
      4. Playing time will be: Four 7-minute quarters– non-stop clock 1st and 3rd quarters and the 2nd and 4th quarters the clock will stop with each stop of play by referees who whistle the last full minute.
      5. Basketball Size 27.5
      6. (Free Throw Line will be 2’6” towards the goal from the standard free throw line. All courts should be clearly marked before the game starts.)

      4. Basketball Size 28.5
      5. Playing time will be: Four 7-minute quarters– non-stop clock 1st and 3rd quarters and the 2nd and 4th quarters the clock will stop with each stop of play by referees who whistle the last full minute of these two quarters.

    1. 5TH GRADE-

        1. Basketball Size 28.5
      4. Playing time will be: Four 8-minute quarters– non-stop clock 1st and 3rd quarters and the 2nd and 4th quarters the clock will stop with each stop of play by referees who whistle the last full minute.
    2. 6TH GRADE-
      1. 10 foot goals
      2. Press anytime unless 15+ points ahead
      3. 1 Full 60 sec Timeout per half
      4. Basketball Size 27.5 (Girls), 29.5 (Boys)

    1. Playing time will be: Four 8-minute quarters– non-stop clock 1st and 3rd quarters and the 2nd and 4th quarters the clock will stop with each stop of play by referees who whistle the last full minute.

    1. GENERAL INFORMATION-
      1. Pre-game warmup will be 3 minutes
      2. Half time – 2 minutes with 1 minute between 1st & 2nd quarter and 3rd & 4th quarter.
      3. Overtime – 2 minutes with stopping clock, plus one timeout, 1-time out per overtime, no carry over of time outs from regulation games or overtimes. (If you don’t use them you lose them). Maximum of two overtimes, if the game is still tied after two overtimes then the game will be decided by free throws, the five players on the basketball court from each team when the 2nd overtime is over are the only players eligible to shoot the free throws. If that results in a tie. One player from each team will continue to shoot free throws in sudden death format. (Both players from each team will get to shoot a free throw, per round).

    1. Basketballs: Sixth grade Boys teams will use the standard High School Basketball size 29.5; 4th and 5th grade teams will use 28.5 size basketball; 3rd grade will use a 27.5 basketball..
    2. Gate admission: $6.00 for adults, $2.00 Children (5 and under free), $3.00 for senior Citizens (65 & up).

    1. Coach’s pass will be issued, there will be only two per team.
      1. Coaches only bring Basketballs to the gym on Game day. Teams will provide game balls.
      2. Final score will be recorded by clock keeper on scorecard, signed by officials and input on website
      3. Only coach and 2 assistant coaches on the team bench. ONLY ONE CAN STAND AT A TIME.

 

  1.  
    1. All teams should show up for games a minimum of 30 minutes before their game time. Scheduled games can and will start before schedule times but not more than 20 minutes.

 

  1.  
    1. Titan Youth Basketball League will have Championship Games Tournaments between the leagues 1st and 2nd place in each age and division. Trophies will be given.
      1. The home team will keep the official scorebook.
      2. Mercy Rule – score will be frozen when the score reaches a 20 point spread
      3. No pressing with >= 15 point lead
      4. The clock will run for the last minute of the game if one team has a 15 point or more lead
      5. All players are to check in at the score table before allowed to enter game, NO substitutions from the bench
      6. Coaches receiving two technical’s resulting in the coach being removed from the gym will be given a one game suspension from coaching and as a spectator at the next scheduled game. If a team does not show up for a scheduled game, that team will be required to pay the referee fee set by the league, unless they have been given a 48 hours advance notice.

    1. RULES ON PLAYERS:
      1. Can only be on one roster for League Games and League Sanctioned Tournaments.
      2. Players cannot participate (play or sub) for more than one team in any League Game or League Sanctioned tournaments.
      3. Only exception: if a team has less than 5 players, approval from opposing teams Coach and/or Tournament Director will need to be obtained before substitution players can be picked up and added to the temporary roster.
      4. Reasons for picking up players:
      5. Sickness, Injury, School Function, Out of Town.
